Easy Ways To Lose Weight

If you are overweight, it significantly increases your risk of heart diseases, high BP, and diabetes. There is an added disadvantage to being overweight. In case you need surgical operation, your treatments will become difficult. So don't you think you are better off with eating more of vegetables and less of fats? And of course the cardinal rule is to do plenty of exercises along with any diet program. The entire combination will send your weight scale direction to a lesser number. Here are a few foods that you can take into account when you are on a weight loss program:
  1. If you love food with high calorie, opt for one that is a low calorie treat but is tasting as good as high calorie food. For example Lobster contains 83 calories in about 3 ounces. Similarly shrimps contain 60 calories in 12 large sized ones. And did you know that whipped cream contains only 8 calories in a teaspoon? Surprised aren't you?
  2. Once you have had breakfast, drink lots of water. Go ahead and have some juice during the breakfast but after that have water rather than cold drinks which account to nearly 300 calories a day, if had instead of water.
  3. Some experts say that weight watchers should have a pedometer clipped to their belt. After this you can aim for a thousand extra steps each day! On an average people take just about 2000-3000 steps each day. So with a pedometer you can consciously aim for taking a 1000 steps more. This way you will stop gaining more weight if not lose it.
  4. Yet another very old saying by the nutritionist is that eat at least 5-6 meals each day rather than eating 3 main courses. This process will make you eat 30% less calories.
